• The female student must be 18 years old to apply under this program.
• Candidates must be citizens who are female. 
• For the duration of their undergraduate studies and/or graduate programs, the female students must be admitted or enrolled full-time in a STEM degree program at one of MPOWER’s partner universities.
•  One of the following immigration statuses must apply to the female students: Status as a DACA recipient, F1 visa holder, or Green Card holder (permanent residence) for study at a U.S. partner college or university Permanent residents or holders of a Canadian study permit are allowed to enroll in a Canadian partner institution or university.
•  If the female students match the aforementioned qualifying requirements, they can apply for the MPOWER Women in STEM Scholarship without having to be an MPOWER borrower or student.

The major prize will be 5,000 dollars, the first runner-up will receive 2000 dollars, and the second runner-up will receive 1000 dollars.

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the organisation behind the AICTE Pragati Scholarship. The purpose of this scholarship is to give financial support to members of the underprivileged population who lack the means to pursue further education. The creation of this scholarship program will enable people to pursue technical education. The purpose of the AICTE Pragati Scholarship is to assist girls who are unable to pursue an education due to a variety of factors, including social hurdles or financial constraints.

• Only female candidates are allowed to apply for the AICTE Pragati Scholarship.
•  Through the State/Central Government’s Centralised Admission Process, the candidate must be accepted into the first year of a degree or diploma program at an institution that has received AICTE approval.
•  The scholarship is only available to families with a maximum of two female children.
•  A family’s yearly income shouldn’t be more than 8 lakhs.
•  Merit-based selection for the scholarship is made, mostly based on the candidate’s performance on the qualifying exam.
