The Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme for Minorities 2026 has been introduced by the Government of Telangana’s Minority Development Department. This program is designed to assist individuals who want to pursue doctoral and postgraduate studies abroad. Under this scheme, 500 minority students will receive scholarships up to rupees 20 lakh or the amount indicated in the admission letter. The students who are chosen for the scholarship will also get the cost of an economy class one-way plane ticket. The Telangana Chief Minister Overseas Scholarship is a program launched by the Telangana Government for the students who belong to minorities. According to an announcement from the Telangana administration, minority students can now apply for the Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme. The Motive of the Chief Minister Overseas Scholarship for Minorities is to empower the students who belong to the minority communities of the state Telangana. The state Government will be providing an opportunity to the students to pursue there education in Foreign countries. The Program will provide financial help to the students so that they can continue their education without any financial burden. The Program will also work for the empowerment and recognition of the minorities in the Telangana state.

• On July 1st of the year of the advertisement, you must be under thirty years old.
•  In the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, or Singapore, should an student  intend to seek a postgraduate degree.

• The student should have a family income from all sources that is less than rupees 5,00,000 annually.
