Under this Maharashtra Maintenance Allowance, the students who are permanent residents of Maharashtra, and enrolled in a Professional course will be allowed to get financial help to cover their maintenance allowance which includes: Their course books, stationery, food, and residence. Through the implementation of this Maharashtra Maintenance Allowance, multiple Scheduled caste students will fulfill their day-to-day expenses related to their course or stay at the hostel.

Heads up: Maharashtra Maintenance Allowance Scheme has been introduced for the Scheduled Caste students who are currently pursuing Professional courses.
