The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment started this scholarship for SC students in classes 9-10. It gives money to help with school costs like books and hostel fees. Students can get up to Rs. 1,000.

To apply, students must: Fill out a form online. The form is on the NSP website. Students need to give their details. They must be in class 9 or 10. They should be from the SC group. Their family income should be less than Rs. 2.5 lakh per year. Students must send in their papers with the form. They should apply before November 30, 2023. The government will pick students based on their details and papers.

The scholarship helps poor SC students pay for school. It gives money for:

Note: Students can get money every month for school. They get Rs. 225 to 525 each month. This money comes for 10 months in a year. It helps them pay for school things. Students also get money for books. They can get Rs. 750 to 1,000 for books each year. This helps them buy the books they need for class. This money helps poor students stay in school. It makes it easier for them to study and learn. The government gives this money to help students do well in school.

Tip: Disabled students in classes 9-10 can get more money:

• Rs. 160 per month for blind students to hire a reader
• Rs. 160 per month for students with any disability
• Rs. 160 per month for severely disabled day scholars to hire help
• Rs. 240 per month for mentally disabled students to get coaching
